Angels Eyes Consulting is founded by James E Lewis. Mr. Lewis attended Middlesex School in Concord, MA, and graduated from Connecticut College with a BA degree in Government. He also attended graduate courses at Boston University.
Mr. Lewis is a Co-Founder of Curtis-Straus LLC, a Conformity Assessment Testing Laboratory specializing in the ITE, Telecommunications Equipment, Medical, and Test & Measurement markets. He conceived of the business in 1996, recruited key founders, attained seed capital, and held the role of Chief Executive Officer and Director of Sales/Marketing. He grew the business from zero to over 10 million in sales over a 10 year span with over 70 employees while retaining over 90% of the employee base throughout the life of the organization. Curtis-Straus LLC was acquired by a large European multi national organization in 2005. He continued with Curtis-Straus through a transitional perioid for three years post acquistion.
Curtis-Straus enjoyed recognition as an Entrepreneur Hot 100 Company in 1998 & 1999, and won the prestigious INC 500 Fastest Growing Company award in 2001 (#215). These awards clearly demonstrate our understanding of how to market, sell, and grow a start up company.
Prior to founding Curtis-Straus, Mr. Lewis worked for a large conformity assessment organization (Intertek) based in London, where he held several key roles including regional sales manager, site location manager, and general manager for their testing instrumentation manufacturing subsidiary.
Mr. Lewis also has experience in the retail industry, where he was Vice President of Sales & Marketing for 8 years at a manufacturer of paper products sold to key retailers in the USA.
Mr. Lewis has trained for and completed four Ironman Triathlons. This "going the distance" mentality is indicative of the desire, commitment, and work ethic it takes to attain a goal. We know how to work hard, for you our customer.
